Children’s Residential Support Worker – Temp to Perm
Location: Herne Bay
Salary: £13-14 per hour (with permanent salary upon placement)
Shifts: mixed shifts including sleep-ins

About the Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
- Promote independence, positive behaviour, and personal development
- Support with education, activities, and appointments
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
About You We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children and young people (residential experience desirable)
- Are resilient, empathetic, and patient
- Understand safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Are flexible to work shifts, including evenings and sleep-ins
- Hold (or are willing to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
