Children’s Residential Support Worker 
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £12.50-£13.50
Shifts: 2 days on, 4 days off 
(2 long day shifts with a sleep in)

Our client already holds a huge presence in the Children's Social Care sector and understands the importance of the ongoing support required within this community. 

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and resilient Children’s Residential Support Workers on a permenent basis, supporting children and young people in a residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team with the potential to secure a permanent role.
About the Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
  • Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
  • Promote independence, positive behaviour, and personal development
  • Support with education, activities, and appointments
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can thrive.
About You We are looking for individuals who:
  • Have experience working with children and young people (residential experience needed)
  • Are resilient, empathetic, and patient
  • Understand safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Are flexible to work shifts, including evenings and sleep-ins
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
A full UK driving licence is required
