Senior Residential Support Worker

Arch Resourcing are looking for a Senior Support Worker to work in a therapeutic Children's Residential Home in Harrow.

Duties of Senior Support Worker: 

• To provide primary basic care and a nurturing, therapeutic environment to help the child
• progress
• Manage the home effectively in the absence of the home manager or deputy manager.
• Effectively lead shifts, direct and support the staff team.
• To mentor and support staff and manage individual and team performance to ensure a standard
• of excellent service delivery.
• Ensure the effective monitoring and control of all expenditure accounted for in accordance with
• financial procedures.
• To manage health and safety processes in the home including implementation and monitoring
• of risk assessments.
• To contribute to the normal development of the children and young people through the provision
• of a healthy lifestyle to enable them to reach their fullest potential by providing a variety of
• stimulating activities and a consistent and caring adult model.

Senior Support Worker Hours of Work: 

• 40 hour week
• Shifts will be worked on a basis of 2 days on/4 days off
• Sleep in shifts are paid over and above the base salaries shown (additional £5,000 per annum)

Requirements of Senior Support Worker:

• Experience working in a children's residential in a Senior or Team Leader position
• Level 3 qualification in residential childcare or children & young peoples workforce.
