The Role You will be supporting children and young people within residential settings, helping to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. Duties may include:
- Supporting young people with daily routines and activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Building trusted relationships and acting as a positive role model
- Supporting with education, appointments, and community activities
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Managing challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
- Experience working within Children’s Residential Care or EBD settings
- A caring, resilient, and proactive approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred (or willingness to apply)
- Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential
